We're passionate about songwriting and aim to make Cape Town the Songwriting Capital of South Africa by developing an authentic Cape songwriting culture and producing songwriters that understand the business of songwriting! We released our first compilation CD in December 2009. Songs featured cover a wide range of styles from smooth jazz to country-pop. Listen to the opening track 'Inspired' by singer-songwriter Grant Ross.
Twenty CTSS songwriters collaborated to write songs for the first Cape Town Carnival. 20,000 people lined Long Street to view the event and 110,000 copies of the Carnival CD were distributed.
